The Division Manager is an integral role to directly oversee and support all staff engaged in the private duty division.  The Division Manager is ultimately responsible for the success of his/her offices in all aspects of the operations. The current operations includes 2 offices in Tannersville and Clarks Summit, PA with a goal to open 2 additional branch offices in the next 2 years.

 

Position reports to: Director of Operations
 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must be competent and knowledgeable of all applicable home health regulations, labor laws, AND company policies in order to properly direct and support staff.

  • Manage audits/reviews/surveys of branch offices:

  • Implement and track effectiveness of processes and procedures necessary to ensure compliance in all day-to-day activities.

  • Verify compliance with all applicable regulations on a minimum monthly basis through quantifiable tracking mechanisms.

  • Track and ensure adherence to budgeted revenue and EBITDA goals for each office.

  • Engage in development of yearly budget for each branch office.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities

  • Identify areas of the business that need additional resources to meet company objectives.

  • Manage wages, overtime, and related COS/SGA expenditures

  • Secure relevant payor contracts and ensure continued engagement  

  • Engage, educate, and encourage participation with the company's marketing team to achieve division goals and growth objectives.

  • Create an environment for staff that encourages initiative, creates value, and ensures staff feel valued and appreciated.

  • Engage in activities for Staff Development

  • Manage customer satisfaction initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Health, or Science field

  • License in health care preferred, but not required

  • Experience working in private duty home health care for a minimum of 5 years

  • Knowledge and experience in operating management, including the supervision and effective leadership of employees

  • Ability to effectively utilize computer programs including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, & Google Apps for Business (including calendar, drive, sites, mail, groups, and contacts)
